White Castle is the fast-food hamburger chain of America. White Castle is the first American fast-food restaurant chain of hamburger.

For small square burger White Castle is known, referred to sometimes, and as “Slyders” trademarked today. Until the 1940s they were priced at five cents, and there after for years while shrinking remained at ten cents.

When for several years for five cents the original burger was sold, White Castle in local newspaper ran promotional ads periodically which contains coupons which offers for ten cents five burgers, takeout only.
