Hyderabad looks like not out of trouble still. On the third consecutive day the communal violence continued. On Monday i.e 29th of March 2010 in old city of Hyderabad an indefinite curfew was imposed.
After the two fresh cases of violence interrupted, the curfew was imposed in the areas around the historic Charminar — Shahali Banda, Moghalpura, Aliabad, Lal Darwaza, Shamsheergunj and other localities — besides Mecca Masjid in the old city.
In the areas in all 17 police stations the curfew came into force from 7:pm Monday, areas which are in South Zone, said by A.K Khan (Police Commissioner). In Shahali Banda the trouble broke out when on place of worship the attack was tried.
By police rubber bullets were fired, use of teargas shell and baton charged the mob. From adjoining localities clashes were also reported, since last night calm prevailing were shattered.
In Moosabowli area of Hussaini Alam the violence was broke out between two groups over the religious flag. Which in other areas with mobs armed with stones, sticks and even on street taking petrol bombs spread.
