Hurricane Earl: heaviest rain and strongest wind

On Wednesday with treacherous wind and heavy rain Hurricane Earl headed towards the East Coast, by which thousand of vacationers were forced to evacuate part.

Late Wednesday when winds increased up 140 mph along with heavy rain, the Earl was resorted as the class 4 hurricane by National Weather Service.

Gladys Rubio a meteorologist at the National Hurricane Centre in Miami said that, “this is a dangerous situation”.

Last time in 1991 the hurricane became such a threat, when $620 million damage was caused by the Hurricane Bob.

It is expected that on Thursday night Earl will approach to vulnerable Outer Banks and on Friday to Delmarva Peninsula.

11pm on Wednesday at southeast of Cape Hatteras storm was 520 miles, at 18mph it was moving to the north-northwest, along with the force wind of hurricane which extending up to 90miles from the centre and 230 miles extended by tropical storm-force wind. by the forecasters it was cautioned that slight deviation in the path of storm could bring heaviest rain and strongest wind close or even on shores.

Hatteras Island is expected to be evacuated by as many as 30,000 tourists. And Ocracoke island was left by the tourists.

Emergency declared in Virginia, Maryland and North-Carolina.
