National Invitation Tournament (NIT) was scheduled on 30th of March 2010 and at 7:00pm and at 9:00pm, two matches were played.
In the first game by 68-63 Mississippi was beaten up by Dayton. That was a close game as witnessed. The second game was won by UNC by 68-67 against University of Rhode Island, that too was a close game.The matches were played in New York Square Garden.
the finla game of NIT championship will be played in between UNC vs Dayton.
