Tom Brookshier at 78 has died, he was the former Philadelphia Eagles star. It is said by Eagles that Tom Brookshier was having cancer and he died on Friday night.

In the 1960 championship Tom Brookshier has played on Eagles, Tom Brookshier was an All-Pro defensive back. With the team Tom Brookshier in seven seasons had 20 interceptions. In 1959 and 1960 he earned All-Pro honors.

Tom Brookshier announced NFL games for CBS, after his retirement.
